Me encanta la expresión "de idas y venidas". Significa que has recorrido una distancia, has vivido una experiencia, has disfrutado de aventuras, pero has conseguido volver al punto de inicio. En mi caso en esta aún corta existencia he vivido bastantes. Desde que este blog se enfundó en una capa de invisibilidad ya han pasado unos nueve años y la vida ha seguido avanzando inexorable paralelamente a una indecisión contínua sobre si pulsar la tecla de "eliminar definitivamente" que blogger me ponía delante. En este período de silencio terminé una carrera que parecía la historia interminable y cuyos últimos años se me hicieron cuesta arriba hasta el punto de rozar superficialmente (por no hundirme en un tema tabú de nuestra sociedad) la depresión. Sin embargo gracias a la ayuda de mucha gente que estaba ahí, a mi tozudez y a las ganas de acabar con todo, obtuve el título y abandoné la ciudad que vio nacer este blog. A few months ago while I was spending some weeks in France, I had the chance of watching this amazing story. Pascal is a shepherd who learned the old tradition from Bergamo and Carole is a young girl who wanted to change her life and follows Pascal since then. Both of them embark on their long winter transhumance: four months during which they will have to cover 600 km in the Swiss-French region, accompanied by three donkeys, four dogs and a eight hundred sheep. Although this kind of transhumance is about to extinguish and, probably, has been exaggerated, this first film by Manuel Von Sturler is a little jewel which shows the beauty and cold of a different way of living. It could be the famous novel by Arthur Koestler, but far from that, Darkness at noon is the name which Avelino Sala has choosen to his new exhibition. Whenever I visit my family I try to spend sunday morning at the Asturias Fine Arts Museum . This time something really different caught my eyes. Instead of  famous Apostolado by El Greco , the first showroom was a piece of Asturias' industrial history. It was kind of sad realizing that all those beautiful pencil drawings had the same thing in common. They were showing the largest companies in our land which, nowadays don't exist anymore. Some of them are known ( Chupa Chups ), others weren't but factories of world companies ( Coca-Cola ), newspappers (La Voz de Asturias) , mining companies (Ensidesa) , family businesses ( Simago, Chocolates la Herminia, San Claudio, La Estrella de Gijón ) ... As Shakespeare said "to be or not to be" I would say " to write or not to write". Last months I was trying to get away from all our daily troubles. Somehow a friend of mine made me realize that this place, forgotten, used to be my place to scape. So here I am again, waking up from a long long year. And as you can see, what I have decided is to write. Ken’s collection is hard proof that despite backgrounds, cultures, and skin colors, a mother’s love and the bond between her and her children remains the same. That is the best way to explain Ken Heyman's  "Mothers" . I have just discovered the high speed photographs by Edward Horsford and I can't help falling in love with those colourful balloons' explosions.
